Any insight on McDermott’s Delaware office?
Hey! Any Google folks know if it’s possible to negotiate fully remote if a contract role is hybrid? Personally, I don’t want to relocate and go to the office on a contract role given the current economy. Plus, I’m assuming contractors are the first to go in layoffs. I just think it’s a fair trade off if I’d be allowed to work fully remote. I’m also trying to have flexibility to manage my Airbnb business in a different country. Same time zone as the home office if I’d travel weeks at a time.

I lost my shit laughing in the bathroom. I have a child and wife sleeping whilst I drudge on working at midnight on a Tuesday bro.

Not really. Phone expenses - varies by office, some managers+ get reimbursed, others don't. Bonuses, I'm a top rated manager and I've never received more than 4k, and that was the year I made manager, usually I get 2k and 0 this year. Our insurance isn't great coverage wise, they just redid the plans this year presumably to cut costs. No rewards. PTO is good manager+, but caps out at a % of your annual allowance so you may earn 240 hours a year, but can only accrue 196 at a time and because you will be over scheduled, you're going to lose PTO. Also since it's a rolling accrual, if you don't get below 80 hours by December... you also cap out during busy season.
