Is it a red flag if they’re an associate?
Hello All, I have one question. I was a fresher and joined one organization as external employee with third party payroll. I worked as external payroll for 1 year then I became permanent employee of organization was working. When i was a fresher my salary was below tax slab so my external exployer did not generate any form 16 for me. When tried to switch my new organization wants me to submit form 16 as BGC process. Will my offer get reverted?Cognizant Tata Consultancy HCL Technologies Accenture

Anyone who wants to judge natural aging can kick rocks. I started going gray in college, full salt and pepper by mid 20’s and just embraced it, anyone who wants to judge my looks for something that’s out of my control is a poor reflection on their character not mine!
I hear you. Not judging anyone but surely have a problem with it when I see it on myself... just being honest,
Nope. It reminds me that I’m alive and aging and some folks didn’t get the opportunity to do so, and for that I’m grateful.
You're right. That's a shift I need to slowly make my way to
All the power and respect to the women who go gray naturally. I think it’s beautiful and I admire it so much, and I’m jealous.
I can’t do it though. For various reason - it simply doesn’t look good with my naturally dark curly hair, I work in an industry where everyone is much younger, I’m self conscious, and I just don’t want to. I get my roots touched up (dyed) about every 5 or 6 weeks. The gray starts coming back around 2 weeks, is noticeable by 3. So in between I use one of those root sprays -basically like spray paint for your hair 😂. I just use a little bit where I part my hair and the roots show. As a bonus it works as a dry shampoo and absorbs oil.
I just use the L’Oréal one, in like a light blue/teal kind of can. Darkest brown color. I’ve tried other brands, they are mostly the same, but this one the color is most like mine.
Side note: if you do a heavy spray, be careful about putting your sunglasses on top of your head. When you put them back on your face they might leave brown marks around your nose and under your eyes. Then you walk into a party and take off your sunglasses and look like an idiot. (Guess how I found this out 😂)
I have dry thick, coarse, very dark, curly hair which already gets more comments than I would like. I am starting to go grey in my 40s after my 2nd pregnancy and plan to use purple shampoo, conditioner and see if that gives me a look I can work with. The idea of spraying color or regular dye jobs when I am already so overwhelmed and spread so thin is unappealing.
It’s a double standard that men can go gray and be considered a silver fox or wise but women are old? F that. Go gray and hold your head high. I’m 46 and have dark curly hair that is more salt and pepper every day. I’m an EVP in software. You’re the boss. Don’t let them
Take your power because of hair!!!
I’ve been greying since I was 18 and I just let it do its thing naturally.
I’m all grey and I am very insecure about it. Used boxed dye to maintain for years and it just made my hair coarse, dry, and mismatched. I now get it done at the salon regularly and use Boldify between appointments, it’s like eye shadow for grey coverage.
If you have an IG profile recommendations, pls add them here
I love grey hair! I think it's so beautiful! I've been greying over the years and I've embraced it. Even got a style where the added extensions were also grey and absolutely love it!
I wish I could see like that
I’m getting some, but it kind of blends in with the blonde so I just keep highlighting it in.
My mom let hers go and everyone at work thinks she had it colored that way bc it looks stylish! It kind of had an ombré look with some brown in the back of her short tapered bob cut. Grey can be totally in if you rock it with confidence!
You're right. Love that for your mom :)
I’ve spent hundreds of dollars trying to get my hair to a silvery grey in my 20s. Literally waiting for the day it happens naturally
Oh wow! It's so funny how the world works. Grass is always greener on the other side. What I'd do to have my hair look like it did in my 20s :D
I am going grey and quite uncomfortable about it. To make it worst, I am severely allergic to hair dyes so can’t use it. I started using a black eye mascara to cover the greys that are too obvious but also worry if using it too often may be doing a long term damage to my hair. It also makes my hair sticky. I know someone mentioned Boldify and root sprays. I will try it. Let me know if there are any other options!
Yes, someone in a previous post suggested it.
XZZ, don’t try and cover it up just let it go. You’re already allergic to coloring so just let it happen naturally. What I do and I do cheat a bit. I was threatening to go fully gray because I was coloring every 4 to 5 weeks, way too many chemicals, etc. When Covid hit I just stopped so now I’m not totally gray for whatever reason genetically Around my face the crown is not gray. It’s still brown so I go in for highlights every six months and there are color enhancers that bring the gray out the silver out and take out the blindness the brassiness. I use that every few weeks. Very little upkeep makes me feel great about myself, and I don’t have to worry about putting all those chemicals on my hair every 4 to 5 weeks. Not to mention how much it cost. Look at silverhairloveaffair on IG, there are many other accounts like her!
Yeah it definitely costs a bomb
I too have been greying since teens. I didn’t dye it until I was ~28 because I wanted my hair to reflect how I felt, and I didn’t feel the age my greys made me look. I don’t like the root touchups and like even less the spray bottle for gap weeks but I do love a fresh cut and color when I get the chance for some me time!
That's my issue as well, I don't feel as old as my hair signifies. And that's a struggle I'm trying to get over.
I can style gray hair quite well, and so I wouldn't mind
1. Health and shine are a little tougher for gray hairs as I find they tend to look dull and frizz out. So, attention to detail is key. Hydrating hair masks are helpful here and have good, deep conditioning treatments. Also, using purple shampoo helps a tone to neutralize the tone and make it shine. 💜 you can also consider oils and serums but not needed.
2. Choose a cut that has soft layers and adds volume. Choose a length that works for you, but I feel styling short to mid length is easiest.
3. Accessorize that complement your hair ... ie. Deep blues, jewel tones, and white.
4. Reframe the narrative. When someone says something silly like 'Whoa, I didn't realize you had gray hair,' just say, 'yep all natural too.' Many people color their hair, try to hide naturuality that it's rare to see people flaunt their natural look, which includes gray hair.
Confidence is the most noticeable aspect of any look.
Never go gray
I’ve been gray for 3 years now and it’s best thing I ever did! Less expensive and actually funny how I get so many compliments from the youngins I work with about my “highlights.” Be yourself ladies. Are you great at your job? That’s all that matters. Don’t buy into this bullshit your hair has to be a certain way because it’s a younger persons industry.
I think it does depend how you feel about it . How you want to look is personal to you. Do what you want to make you feel good.
