Hello All, I have offer in hand of 27.5 LPA+15% variable from ZS Associates as a BT Solutions delivery consultant and now my current company is ready to retain me by matching the offer & assuring that they will send me onsite to UK in couple of months. Now I am in a dilemma of what to do as I have been looking for onsite opportunities for my entire career so far. Kindly share your thoughts. Comp is the exact same, WLB is the same as well
Not sure I agree on this one, although I’ll nuance the above by saying that most govt work is ops or digital transformation (under Service Operations family of work), so similar to what we would do for other clients in that regard
What’s GPS? Is it government/defense?
If so, yes. Quite significant practice here
I’ve worked for public and parapublic sector on 3-4 studies. Honestly, best work life balance at the firm. If you have a good team, you can easily do 9-5 and only 30-60 min after checkout. This is as a BA/ASC, but my EM’s had better lifestyle than on other studies too. There’s no difference in comp under normal circumstances as we staff on a study by study basis. However, the main reason I stopped doing that type of work is because you learn a lot less. The type of work we do is less complex given the problems are fairly similar from department to department so we run a standard playbook and the challenge is mostly a people one where the EM and up are dealing with. As a BA who has interacted in steerco and emails with C-suite people, I was barely allowed to communicate directly with anyone above director level with these clients.
