What was your week's highlight?
I haven’t started yet, but have had a couple of Accenture PMs reach out regarding open roles for upcoming projects. All meetings have gone fine and promising, only to lead up to a rejection that they’re moving with another resource. Does Accenture move quickly in resourcing for projects?

I came in with 7 years military experience and Accenture LLP made me start at sr analyst …with a bunch of recent university grads. If I had gone with Accenture federal services I would have come in at a better level.
Ohhh man! That sucks! Probably a higher earning potential though. I naturally looked toward federal services and Deloittes GPS too, but your salary seems to be capped over time. Maybe a better work life balance, but still. Thanks for the input though!
Yes military experience does count. A lot of MDs in Accenture in Australia are from ex-Air Force backgrounds. As per their current age and time spent in military, it does not seems like they would have reached at MD level so fast. It seems they would have either started at M or SM level.
It depends. Deloitte is strict on years of relevant experience, while military experience does help your case I’ve seen people in your shoes come in as a Consultant - maybe an SC. End of the day it’s different than the military so while it may be seen as downleveling it isn’t.
You should! Their workforce is 60%+ veteran. They will give you a better seat at the table for your YOE.
