Does salary differ per employee even if the same position was offered? I asked coz when I checked on linkedin, I searched for people with the same post I was offered too (Sr Consultant at CG). But when I look at their YOE , it is quite lesser compared to me (I have 8yoe). Some has 4yoe only but were working as Sr. Consultant also at CG. Why is that so? 😅🥴 Capgemini

How important would it be to not have the “Jr” before the title? Personally, I don’t care about the title, but wonder about future employer’s?

We have sales people in Canada and the US, the Canadians make 150K CAD and down here it’s 150K USD, the Canadians argue they should be making 30% more than the US colleagues to be equal bc of the exchange! I explain the salary is dependent on the market data for them in Canada, WHERE THEY LIVE, and you can’t compare it to the US employees and the market data down here. Overall they are both in the 75th% for total comp. for their industry. Am I wrong?

My monthly salary is around $6.4k after-tax. Living in NYC. Do you think it’s reasonable that I pay:
- about $1.5k on rent
- about $500 on utilities and subscriptions
- about $900 on student loan
- about $2k on food and etc.
My saving goals is around $3k so been trying to adjust my monthly spending.
