Im SVP, it means $75 a month toward a gym membership, and thats it, and Im not kidding, and I have to fill out my own expense report to get it.
At agencies? Unlikely. More often than not they’re vanity titles agency side.
Yeah. I think at SVP you get parking paid for. 😀
When I first became an SVP at a huge global agency I quickly learned the extent of the perks. I had to take a long international flight but was not allowed to fly business class at my level. I asked, “What level do I need to be?” “Higher than you. Much higher,” was the answer. But I did get a free “executive” annual exam. Even though it was pretty much the same one my health insurance already provided. The main perk was the box of new business cards.
@BBDO1: That’s a good one.
Really depends. Some places it means nothing. Like you can be an associate creative director and a VP? Personally at my agency it means you are a department head for your office, so it is an executive title and with that comes mostly just more responsibility.
Hell no!
No
