Doing research on MY FIRST OFFER!!!
(My parents can't really give me perspective on this, so I'm asking all my mentors & YOU @ FISHBOWL.)

The company wants to send me29F to San Francisco for sales @ 93k during training, and 77k drop once I'm able to earn commission.

I'm not sure about the numbers on this since it's one of the most expensive cities to live and work in.

Also: 12k sign-on is @2ND CHECK and start date is October. I hate this part of it bec I graduate in August and need $ lol

The pay sounds okay, especially for starting out, but I have to agree about SF being expensive. You're going to lose a lot on the cost of living.

Found this living wage info from MIT that might help you decide. Looks like it is based on 2019 data? Either way, $77k shouuuuuld be enough...but it will be tight. https://livingwage.mit.edu/counties/06075

@Assistant Manager 1, thank you for sharing that website resource, this is extremely helpful!

529 Plan VERSUS Prepaid

We live in Florida and currently have a Freshman in High School and a 16 month old. We hear from our friends and family with college bound children "I wish we would have done Florida PrePaid." After obviously ignoring this for years, we are finally trying to do it before "it's too late" for both children.

Does anyone have recommendations on which plan to go with for each child? I once did the pros and cons on a whiteboard and it seemed like 529 was better.

Are you able to ride the bikes on the roads throughout the park?
If so, are there places to lock up the bike at trailheads and/or parking lots to take in?
I haven't been to this national park yet, so I was curious how it compares to Zion for example, where it is easy to bike from "stop to stop" to view the scenery or do a hike!

Thank you!
