I am working at MSLGROUP as an Associate, less than 1 yoe , they have asked me to relocate in 4 weeks to the Location (currently wfh).
Also I have an offer from one of the competitors based in my City.

D1: Do you not understand the meaning of ‘compelling reason’ ? What if someone’s parents are sick or going through feud back home or worse someone back in country really needs them to be there.
So cut down with the condescending tone and let people decide what is a compelling reason for them.
I'm just so appalled at D1s line of reasoning. This isn't political or Modi related at all. If you have a humanitarian or compelling reason to be home in India, you let your embassy know so they can help your travel where needed.

D2, on visa status based argument, I’m not a lawyer. If your lawyer advises return, then by all means. But recognize that you’re returning to not exhaust your savings and that’s not what you should prioritize at a time like this!
D2, I’ve been through a similar situation in 2008. Conserve cash, put expenses on credit card and pay only minimum balance. You’ll stretch it out for 6+ months. Still not reason enough to put family and country men at risk. For what we do, a 20k to 40k credit card debt is nothing. Don’t put family at risk over money
