Typically a revocable living trust costs $2-3K without the MetLife plan which may or may not include some fees for notary and feed transfers. I’m sure when you use a MetLife lawyer they may have to decrease their base fee that’s covered by the plan so they might increase some of these other fees (for example, retitling might be $150 each but they are charging you $525). If you own your home you must retitle it to belong to the trust so these are “normal” charges but higher amounts than when I used a non MetLife lawyer
Ps I’d just ask your lawyer if you don’t understand what the other fees are for

What is MetLife covering? The draft of the will or trust that it is accurate? I’m not sure why you would need to pay to insure it.,, if you read the document and it has everything you asked for in it, I don’t see why you would pay the expense…
A pro tip: most companies have legal services as a benefit, given that we’re in enrollment season, it could be worth entertaining for $1-$3 a pay period… at most it costs you ~$80 for the year, and they’ll review it for free… even put you in touch with an attorney with pre determined fee structures paid by the coverage… that’s what I use, because I’m cheap…
Are you single? I never recommend retitling jointly owned property owned with a spouse in the trust of one spouse. At least in FL there is too much creditor protection available to property held jointly by spouses. Wait till one dies then retitle.
The retitling is about putting it into the trust. However, I filed a form with my city and that was it.
