Base is good for yoe. But what is the likelihood of equity payout?

Need more context on stage of company. Most recent round (A, B, C…) and valuation?

like

Any bonus? Equity could be great, or it could be worthless Monopoly money depending on stage.

like

Without an annual bonus, it probably ends up being too low for the time you will spend working.

like

But how does it compare?

Where are you located and in what sector? Without that it is hard to determine but on face value based YOE, that is a great offer.

F

Definitely need more information here as others have mentioned.

I’ve got 8 years experience, work at a small, hot creative agency in NYC and will be promoted to CD soon. I’m not irreplaceable since no one truly is, but I’m a high value employee responsible for a good proportion of the agency’s marquee creative work and some important new business wins. I’m at $165k now, what should I ask for with my promotion?

Got a temp offer for less than a year without promise of turning into full-time. Wanted to know what ppl think about temp jobs (looks bad on resume if I don't turn full-time later within the company?) and what comp should look like (e.g. 1.2× of regular comp?).

Got another perm offer in a different industry for similar salary, but I might have to relocate and I'm concerned the work may involve translation instead of pure legal work.

NFW- I just had a good laugh. Earlier today I was on a video conference call reviewing a Private Label Agreement template with a larger company who wishes to brand label products we develop and manufacture. We came to a very one-sided provision and my sales VP stated “for this one, how can we just say ‘hell no’ ...nicely?” The other person on the call said we can replace the wording with just NFW (no f@$* way) and I said “I will have to add that to the defined terms section so it’s clear”
