Evening all, planning to move out to the UAE from Western Europe in the next year and looking for a role in consulting. Will have 3.5 years in big4 consulting (public sector and consumer goods projects mainly) and an MSc in Strategic management from a top European b-school. What are my prospects for MBB/T2 post-MBA Associate roles? Any insight/thoughts/advice welcome!

Currently a senior in audit, but I am interested in trying to transfer to Turnaround and Restructuring after busy season. I have my CPA and about 6 years of audit experience. Is there anything I can do to make myself more marketable? Is the transition from audit to restructuring difficult?

Hello all, i have. A question regarding compensation for a lateral move. I just received a job offer for an UA position from a competing cyber insurance carrier for $70,000 + bonuses. This job will be based out of San Francisco. I currently make $30/hour for the same role in Chicago, after OT it’s about $60,000. Do you think it would be wise to accept the offer? My dilemma… I am an injury adjuster at a carrier experiencing high inventory that’s barely manageable. A competitor offered a higher salary and manageable workload. BUT, I would like to get into underwriting. I applied for UW position w/ a different carrier and they’ve made an offer. It’s lower than my current salary and significantly lower than what I’d make by taking the first offer. Do I take the high salary and stay in claims or go for UW in hopes it will be best in long run?
