Of course! I think it happens to all dedicated police officers, it's like feeling that despite all the effort we make, it's still not enough.
Of course, you're not alone in feeling that way. It's always so painful to see power-tripping officers abuse their authority. Not only do they inflict pain on people and their families, they further tarnish our reputation and make it harder for communities to trust us
makes my blood boil to see the blatant disrespect for the power and authority we're granted as officers of the law. I don't understand how some of these people are allowed to join the force, even worse when they don't get any type of punishment
Every time a person doesn't blame all the officers I think it's very wrong, but it's not their fault either. How can they trust everyone if there are officers who make us look bad?
Of course, because they judge us all equally, I don't understand how other police officers can make those mistakes, although I'm sure the main drawback is that these people have anger problems or other problems.
It makes me feel very demoralized, upset and sorry. It is horrible that we have to be lumped together because one person commits such a horrendous act while wearing a uniform similar to yours.
