Good or Bad?
My referral had interviews w/ (1)
recruiter, (1) SM, then the series of
(3) 1:1's w/(1) MD and (2) SM's.
The recruiter said he will now have
an interview in Jan. w/ the PPMD.
He interviewed for a M role in
consulting for customer marketing.

He does have a wide skill set and the
recruiter said it was all positive
feedback, just have to find out
where to put him (on the team he
interviewed for or another he is
qualified for).Deloitte

I’m really sorry you feel this way. I can empathize - it’s a tough place to be in. Why do you think the new team doesn’t value you? Have you gotten feedback?
Thanks for replying :) I feel I'm qualified with enough experience to run the presales group, but instead of considering that option, they hired a new person. And the new person hasn't sought my help in any process change or even current process understanding. And even individual contributor functions, such as running deals, have been super grey and certain deals i was working were reallocated to others. I always say something when this happens, because that's not right. I have brought up the desire to have 'career conversations' twice over the last 6 months, and both times have been told that the org is changing so I should wait until that's finalized. Recounting this makes me angry. I feel better when I remind myself that I'm giving my power away to these people, wasting energy on the systemic problems that end up affecting me personally. I'm trying to just look at what little I do have going on, and try to influence just those. Try to think about how i can spend my time to better myself, like get certifications. Anyway, I did have a chat today about them realigning me to a new manager and some new functions. I would consider this progress, yes. But I'm still very tenuous about what the future holds.
