Currently contributing 18% to savings (8% 401k and 10% to savings account) and also paying $2250/month for grad school. I have a healthy savings balance and am not expecting and need to use it anytime soon. Is is ok to cut back on what I put into my savings account while I’m in school? Feeling stretched thin and have always had the impression it’s bad to not be contributing to savings regularly. Thinking if I’m paying for school it’s ok to be less aggressive with savings. Looking for input.
Hi UK 🐠: grateful if someone can share the comp range (base + bonus + any other benefits like stock options) at Director level at Capgemini Invent? TIA 🙏
I have been working at a small healthcare consulting company focused on Market access and I am hoping to branch out. What are good healthcare consultancies to go for?
Booz folks. How is the life of gov contractors? I might end up moving over for a contract, but it seems like benefits are lacking. E.g. A friend of mine pays for her own health insurance.
Looking for a healthcare user experience/product design role at a mid to senior level. Anyone hiring for that right now? 4 years UI/UX experience, 7+ years design experience in other fields

Not in IB or ER, but I have to ask (per CFA study), how common is it to run in to troublesome pension accounting issues? It seems like most companies have/are going the way of DC plans and away frm DB

Can someone explain why they buy EFTs over index funds? A couple years ago I switched my 401k from target date to index funds? Does it make sense to eventually switch those to EFTs? If so, what's the strategy on when to switch?
Do any other firms offer pension like EY does? And what are the terms? I know EY recently changed the retirement plan but we are still fully vested after 5 years
For benchmarking I think it’d be helpful for all on here to see starting comp. (undergrad or MBA) at top consulting firms: Firm: Base salary: Total possible per. bonus: Profit share: 401K:

Stuck here. Offer A is 5 days a week in office, commute is not too bad, 95k. Offer B is hybrid two days in office, commute sucks, 100k and better benefits. Really great vibes with the entire team at offer A even though the company is a bit old school. Offer B more progressive company, but I 100% felt like I was the back up's backup and they waited for their top picks to reject before my offer. I know for a fact I was Offer A's first choice.
Has anyone read the book Divorce the IRS by James Miller? I recognize that it’s a relatively new book so not that many people have probably had the chance to read it. But my mind is blown. Should I be pursuing a Roth 401k and not traditional 401k? It seems that even if I retire early, the Roth 401k provides way more tax advantages than traditional. Am I missing something?

Any tips on how to figure out what one *really* want to do for their career? I know consulting isn’t it, but I’m having a hard time finding a role or company or even another type of career (e.g., law or education) that really speaks to me and seems fulfilling or exciting or at least worth the effort to switch into. Any tips for introspection or how to navigate this weirdly defeating feeling are very welcomed :)

I’m going to give my notice soon. I’m tired of advertising and planning to retire. I feel guilty, though, because the team is chronically understaffed and my departure will make more work for my colleagues. How do I stop feeling guilty?

What type of self help strategies do individuals actually find helpful when you feel burn out or stuck in a rut? Any books, apps, meditation, podcasts, etc, others find helpful? I've done therapy and it has definitely helped this past year with covid and a marriage separation, starting to feel like I'm making progress and want to keep up the momentum. Looking to see what type of self help others find actually beneficial and would love to use that to help others stuck in burn out too
