8% raise for a 3 though was a good bit more than I expected after the firm supposedly had a down year
No. I asked the question to the partner because I know a colleague (no longer at EY) whose base salary last year is still higher than my new salary as SM. So I don't know what the cutoff is between Manager and SM. Hopefully partner comes back with an explanation :P
@EY7 that seems low for base salary increase. Were you topped / maxed out at M level?
@EY 6, what practice? Also a new senior promote and anxious to know haha
For record also 5 rated promoted to SM. Nowhere near your numbers.
Dish EY 10, I have my meeting Friday
Sorry to hear EY10. If it makes you feel better, I did not go from 160k to 175k (152/167), but it probably doesn't. Still with my new salary, I'm still making less than my friend who was an M4 last year at 175k. I wonder what the salary band is (if any) for SM.
Do sen mgrs get a cut or commission off sales?
Ah I rounded to 5% exactly lol, but yeah your current salary still greater than my new one will be.
Man my m2 is at 158k now and his meeting isn't til Friday,
😫
Out of curiosity, how many years of experience do you have? Just trying to figure out why salary bands are so wide, and clearly not what I expected at SM level.

I have 10 years, and my friend had almost 15 years. Wonder if you're compensated by age, hah. But yeah, I'm still annoyed about this.
@Ey8 I'm in TAS
Senior to manager 9% raise........ 3 rating
You can promoted to manager with a 3 rating...?
Happens all the time. You can also be a 5 and not be promoted. Rating and Promotion decisions don't always go hand in hand.
@EY12 what was your bonus?
3 at EY have to imagine 1.8% bonus
It was 2.1% what a joke
Partner told me that we didn't hit our profit goals this year so (obvi) that impacts all the payouts and increases
