Just starting a new job this week but I’m still interviewing for a more desirable role where the final power day is scheduled for late October. Should I hold off on updating LinkedIn?
Had a lateral interview that seemed to go well, with an invite for a second interview just 4 days later. Said they'd be in touch. After one week I followed up writing sample. They thanked me and said they'd be in touch "next week" (which was this last week). Never heard back. Any advice on what to do next? Don't want to be annoying, and don't know what a typical time-frame is.
Confused on kellogg. Does everyone get an interview invite? Or only guaranteed if you selected on-campus as the interview location?
Been job searching for the whole summer and still haven't even had a phone interview. Slowly losing hope and going insane...
What are realistic career paths for BDRs that do not want to be an account executive? I have been a BDR for 4 years now and looking to get out of sales but unsuccessful so far . I’ve interviewed for social media roles, BDR manager roles , always falling short on what they are looking for. Beginning to think I’ll just have to accept a career that I hate that brings me no passion and try for AE role. My ideal role would be in product marketing or social. Any advice?
Hello all, Can anyone share what kind of interview questions are asked to a SAP Native HANA Modeler/Developer with 4 YOE in companies like - Infosys, Accenture, Deloitte, PwC, KPMG, EY ? Thanks.
Interviewed for a job late 2018. Accepted another offer. A day later, the first job reached out and I told them. Lost job for going to HR over a verbally abusive boss. Is it weird to reach back out...

What excel models/ppt templates have you developed and maintain yourself that you take with you from firm to firm? Do you ever bring these up in interviews?
I recently had an interview with a Publicis agency and didn’t feel as if I was able to fully grasp the work/life culture or company culture as a whole. Anyone work there willing to give their thoughts on the overarching company?
Currently interviewing with Google and working with a recruiter in a specific function, is it frowned upon to keep applying to stuff if it’s relevant to my experience (outside recruiters function)....
Hi I was planning on applying to Blackrock for their Corporate strategy and development summer internship program. Could someone help me understand the job responsibilities better?
Just interviewed for this job that sounds superficially good but I think will take me back to the work I did 10 years ago but will pay my target salary and will have a fancy title (VP). I don't really want to do this but I need a job, have run out of UI and don't want to deplete my savings to nothing waiting for the perfect job. If offered, should I take it and continue looking or will it look bad? Changed jobs within 1 year once already. At least this job would be spinnable for what I want.
Feeling a bit down today because I’ve been applying, interviewing and getting several rejections. Nothing seems to be working out … I know I’m close but it does not make the rejections any easier. How do you cope? What’s the longest you’ve been searching for? Trying to stay positive & encouraged. TIA. PS I’m currently employed just looking to do more impactful & fulfilling work.
I don't know how common this is but anyone ever left a job a few months after starting? What were your reasons for leaving when asked during interviews? And did this cause any disadvantages to you in the long run?
Best way to prep for the McKinsey PEI interview?
What is the normal interview process for consultant coming in through experienced hire process? I was told 5 separate rounds of behavioral and 1 single case. Is that right?
Are paid interview prep bootcamps worth it? I see programs that charge hefty sums like 5% of your new salary, but only if you land the job you want. They aren't worth it for lateral moves but could they help me exit consulting to an amazing tech product role?
Which books would you recommend for in house counsel about strategy, management, and leadership? Asking as product counsel for tech startup.
Hi, I am bringing together a team through a reorg any suggestions on how to bring a new team together remotely?
Hi all, anybody here working at Apple? Would love to hear about what you do, culture, WLB, TC etc - especially if you are in MarCom!
Does anyone have a dog in FDD? I am switching to FDD from a position that didn’t require any travel. I was previously thinking about getting a dog, but I am not really sure what travel is like in FDD and what it will be like going forward with covid. Coming in as experienced associate btw. Would never want to get a pup if I won’t be around.
Got an offer from uber. Taking a pay cut on the base side but compensated with the equity portion where it is a little lower in aggregate than my current salary. Thoughts?
Anyone have a sample email which can be sent to the client when rolling off a project ? For some reason my head is blank and cannot come up with anything
I’m currently out on medical leave but I also accepted a new position with B4. Is it Wrong to give my 2 weeks notice a week before returning to work? New firm wants me to start ASAP.
EY folks, what is your compensation cycle. If I join as a new hire in March will I get atleast minimum raise and bonus for this year?
Long story short - my nanny has many conservative values - mom shaming breastfeeding in public, gender specific roles, considering boys better than girls etc. it never bothered me before and I have learned to co exist with her however now my toddler is speaking and understanding more I am worried about him being influenced by her. Further she also has comments against my SO being too involved parent & calling out son as cutie, hugging toddler etc as he is a boy. Contd..
Hi all, I would appreciate your thoughts - I’ve been really struggling to adjust to long-term WFH and just have been extremely unhappy with it (feelings of isolation, burnout, hopelessness). I realize I’m not spending time on commute and such, not wearing uncomfortable clothes, but I’m still really miserable. I feel like most of my daily joy used to come from live interaction with people. I know many of y’all are really thriving on WFH and need your help / thoughts on how best to adjust. TIA!!
Any openings on VMware
I’m completely burnt out from work and I’m considering taking a break until the end of the year or so. The challenge I’m having is this deep rooted anxiety of having a “gap” on my resume. Is that something that’s still a red flag to hiring managers or am I overthinking it? If you’ve done this, I’d be so curious to hear your thoughts! I know I’m in a privileged position to be able to consider this, I’ve found this bowl to be so supportive and helpful so any thoughts are welcome 🙏
Currently on parental leave. As a father I’m so dang thankful my firm has it and I can’t imagine how my immigrant parents manage to raise two kids without leave.
