Got a random email from a supposed Amazon recruiter for a SDE position (which is not at all a fit). The email is amazon.com domain and there are no red flags in the body but it doesn't feel like an Amazon recruiter due to the tacky signature, etc. Has anyone seen this kind of cold-calling from FAANG recruiter?

Don't let anyone attempt to demean your worth because of your age.
Always apply your best effort.
Learn as much as you can.
Take initiative.
Always take minutes, even when not asked to. Double check your work as if everything you send out is a client deliverable. Earn your managers’ trust early on so he/she doesn’t have to always be on your case. Remember that some people are idiots and you just have to deal with them.
Work your ass off, keep an open mind, try different things, don't worry if every role isn't your dream role, you're not old enough to be special yet, have fun.
Don’t assume assigned coaches are doing everything they can for you, be proactive and ensure they have everything they need to be an advocate. Some coaches are great, it’s just that some don’t really care.

+Maintain a right attitude and develop some EQ please.
Have realistic expectations. You're not going to change the world, nor will you be given access to C suite right away. Understand that and work hard to earn the right
Also, look for mentors, even informal mentors. Offer to help them and learn from the work. People moving up need to show they have a network that wants to support them. If you find someone in that position who is climbing the ladder and you’ve built trust / rapport with them, they will return the favor and pull you up with them along the way.
Not worth it
Speak up if you don't understand something
Say no
Learn from great mentors/supervisors who can teach you the tactical as well coach you through the soft skills you’ll need to develop. Seek them out if they’re not nearby.
It makes a HUGE difference and will set you up foundationally for all of the above.
