Finally found THE one, after over a year of searching and trying out at least 5 different ones!
A nice comfortable office chair.

My criteria: mesh seat and back, arms, headrest
I tried cheap ones from Amazon. Expensive, second hand gaming chairs. Tried HM Aeron (second hand) and while I didn't like the bulk and the general design, I was sold on the mesh seating. I wanted to get the ErgoChair 2 from autonomous, but it doesn't have mesh seat.
AMA.

Got a random email from a supposed Amazon recruiter for a SDE position (which is not at all a fit). The email is amazon.com domain and there are no red flags in the body but it doesn't feel like an Amazon recruiter due to the tacky signature, etc. Has anyone seen this kind of cold-calling from FAANG recruiter?

Best advice I ever got on this was from my old Ops Chief when I was a new lieutenant with my first fleet platoon. I had been crushing myself to try to get to "inbox zero" every single day, and it was obviously getting in the way of actually accomplishing anything meaningful.
"Look, the work will always be there. Someone sat in your chair before, someone will sit there after you're gone. The work never stops and the inbox is never going to be empty, even if you worked 24/7 without end. Just accept that, figure out which parts are important, and get to the rest whenever you can."
As soon as I took that on board and started mentally sorting things into "close/mid/deep/whenever/don't care" categories, I stopped caring what my inbox looked like. I also started being a lot more successful in what I was doing and in my career(s) overall. Still holds me in good stead to this day.
