EY does your HR act as if they are getting approvals when the hiring manager gave me hint that I’m a candidate already approved? It’s been like 2 weeks and the HR is very poor in response. Now I’m like will I even be approved? I don’t know why the HR is so slow.

I've been interviewing with another company for about a month. The whole process has been 3 interviews over a months time. I have been in my current role over 6+ years (as HR mgr) and it's very transactional and not very strategic. The new company wants someone to lead a team from a senior level (HR Director) - what advice do you have for taking the next step in my career? I'm likely going to take the offer if it comes.

For reference, my girlfriend of 2 years graduated and may have an opportunity to work at the client I help audit (very large client) in a financial analyst type role. If she gets this role will I get pulled off the engagement?

Wondering what people think about my situation. I’ve been offered a role with a company. The job description didn’t mention college degree as a requirement. On my CV I have a section listed as “Education” and under it I have “Business Studies” with the university name and the 3 years that I attended the course (2.5 to be exact). Hey, I received a verbal offer from EY for a role as manager, which was quite a low ball offer. I had received another offer from a different firm and I informed EY HR about it. I was told yesterday that they have an updated offer for me, scheduled the call twice with me but didn't actually call and told me she got occupied in other meetings. I have not got a response from her yet on the mails, should I contact the hiring partner directly? other firm is asking me to update as well.

What if your second round of interview was average? Will there be 3rd round? Or you will be rejected and no the process will be concluded then and there? How long so they take to send rejection intimation?

Coronavirus family drama - supposed to take a vacation to OCNJ in two weeks with the in-laws, two brother-in-laws and their wives. MIL is super worried about the virus.
