So I recently left a really fun job where I was ridiculously underpaid for a very very boring job that gave me a pretty big pay rise. I thought I could push through how boring it is but nah, not really. Happy I made this choice because it’s a big client but not sure I can do it for long. How long would you give it before quitting? Why do FAANG companies pay above market not just for Eng talent but other non-core functions? Like HR or other functions that are largely similar anywhere else

I have cleared interview with Wipro a month ago and after 15 days I received a simple mail from HR saying you are selected.

Since that day, there is no communication from HR team of Wipro . I tired of sending multiple emails and when I tried to call he always declines my call.

Between director of respected technology is reaching me and he wants me to join ASAP and take over the project work.

What should I do now?

I work on a consulting team at a large software company. I’m a job hopper, around 2 years each at my first and second jobs and a little over a year at this job. I recently found out they’re shutting my team down. We’re not fired, but they’re transferring us to the core implementation team, which has a horrible reputation for malignancy, overworking, and isn’t at all what I was hired to do. How hard is it going to be to for me to find a new job? Should I just stay and try things out? What next?

Company has low base pay but offers "meaningful raise" after few months good performance. Can I ask them to define that?
