I have an initial recruiter phone interview with Square Thursday. Is it it just a phone call or is it a video call and they didn’t specify. If it’s a video call what’s the dress code like? I’m coming from consulting so all my interviews were in suits. Any tips to get past the recruiter phone screen?

Acquisition at a premium by a company that will support the startup’s mission is the second best exit
Depends on the terms of the acquisition. Acquiring company may only take certain parts of the startup (ie only the engineering team or everyone but HR). May or may not be an interview process to determine who qualifies to integrate. Endless ways for an acquisition to go.
Grow the business to increase your valuation. Regardless of whether you ever IPO, that value will translate into $ for you as you raise new rounds of capital. A friend just pulled 8 figures out of his startup by selling some of his founders shares during their latest (C) round of financing…. And he still owns 80% of his shares.
