Any suggestions on securing an interview with Apple in Austin in a senior quality manager role? I interviewed with them late last year for a role but didn't make it to offer phase. I've been in quality for over 20 years spanning several industries. Just looking to cut thru the applicant pool if anyone can help. Apple

are you choosing the firm you join based on their expense reimbursement policy?
We actually pay reimbursements as approved - so if you have 3 expense reports approved on three consecutive days, you can expect three direct deposits on consecutive days starting 3 days after approval. However, we are also responsible for paying our corporate card ourself, so I want the money before the card payment is due.
PwC pays the corporate card directly, and assuming you use the corporate card for most items, that means little has to be reimbursed directly to you, so per paycheck is fine too.
What happens on the accumulated points on your Amex card if you are reimbursed?
Do you get to keep those points or those are transferred to EY or you simply don't earn any points?
We don't earn points by default. You can pay personally to enroll in Membership Rewards (not reimburseable). You keep the points even if the firm reimbursed you for the expense.
How much do you pay for that enrollment? Thank you for answering patiently. Going to join EY, so thinking of taking a new travel card or not or the Amex will suffice?
I think it is $110 (used to be $85 but I recall it going up). You need to balance how much you'll use the card. By default all expenses (except say, cell phone) are required to be put on the Amex unless the merchant does not accept Amex, or if you are not provided with an Amex (all client serving personnel are issued an Amex, some non-client facing personnel do not automatically get on it).
You might get away with the occasional expense on a personal card, but eventually you'll get nasty emails saying that you need to use the corporate card. Unless you have a lot of international travel, I would say the vast majority of places will accept Amex, and anything else you can use a personal credit card to get reimbursed.
If you decide to leave the firm or discontinue Membership Rewards in future years I think there is a certain amount of time you have to use the points if you don't have another Amex card personally that earns membership rewards.
I am hoping that at the time of joining, I will have more information about the card. For the time being, I just got a list of do and don't for the card. Thank you for your response. :)
