EY peeps: any idea of the raise (not bonus) from staff1 to staff2 with a 3 rating?

Just had a 1:1 meeting that went pretty well aside from the part where I asked him about his kids ages and then he somehow turned the conversation into “You have to make sure you find the perfect woman to have/raise kids with and treat her well”.

I get so awkward in situations like this so I didn’t even correct him. 🙃

What is a good way about asking for a substantial raise? I work for a boutique firm that primarily handles estate and trust litigation. Work in a major market. in my third year of practice and salary is 90k plus ten percent of any work I originate. Bill at 350-425/hr depending on client. Considering between two offers:
EY - 76k salary 3k signing bonus, currently paying for commuting, home internet, and phone bills, $1000 well being fund, cheaper health insurance
Capco - 80K salary 10k signing bonus, $50/month gym membership reimbursement

I'm leaning more towards Capco because I'll enjoy data work more than IT audit but I'm concerned that having Capco on my resume won't be as "prestigious" and hurt me in the long term

Is it worth intentionally taking a job with no growth/upward mobility but straight 40 hour weeks and pay raise to essentially take a break? I'm extremely burnt out from working 50-55+ hour weeks since March during wfh and am seriously considering this other job to get my life back for a year and then start looking for a high growth position if/when the uncertain job market settles down.

They asked me to share the documents , but they didn't share the offer letter, it's been 1 week already.
Do they take time in releasing offer letters generally , or am I rejected already ?

Also, they mentioned 5% engagement bonus , and 8% annual bonus, do they give full amount , or some part of it.

How much an average candidate can expect to get from these bonus . for eg. If 5% = 50 . And 8% = 80, how much amount can I expect .

How do you invest in stocks without using a broker if you work in a law firm focusing on transactional matters? Don’t you always need to get a permission from you law firm’s compliance team to do any trading (sell or buy) before making the trade? Which eventually makes it really hard to do any stock trading as it may take a long time for you to get that permission... that’s at least how it works in my firm, I’m interested in hearing how people tackle this issue?
