M2 NYC metro area working in healthcare consulting base around $131K low for an M2 in a high COL or market? No MBA, but want to pursue in the next 2 years to pivot to working in health strategy.

This past year was/is the worst in my life by far. Aside from all the Covid mess we’ve all dealt with I lost a parent, an in-law, my spouse has decided they no longer want to be married and my grandmother is in hospice with days left. I believe this was/is my least productive year in my career as a result. I’m worried my job won’t be here in a few months and I’m doing my best to hold it together. I.e. some soulful understanding of the hiring firm’s place in the universe, reasoning of what their needs are to succeed and put them in a position of greatness etc, and why you are uniquely qualified?
