Feel so hard to find a relevant job in pharma or biotech company in the SF bay area. I have years of formulation research experience on drug-device combination products and applied for some positions in this area, but did not have any luck yet to get an interview. Maybe the bay area does not have many opportunities this year?

Was told I’d only have one round (4 interviews), each split 50/50 on case/behavioral. This is for an Associate position and will be interviewing with AP/P/SP level. Is this typical? Since I see most people have multiple rounds.

Why is it so difficult to make the next career move within your OWN company. I have over 7 years of experience across multiple departments and yet an external company is more willing to give an interview to select roles than your own home company for the same role internally!!

I've a question on what sections to put on a regular resume. I see some people are using consulting style resume for outside companies as well. Do you think it's a good idea to devide work experience by projets? Or is it better to have "projects highlights" separate from work experience.. something like: intro>functional expertise> project highlights>work experience>education?

I am project manager in clinical research industry (CRO). After earning PhD, I gave up my science dream to take a more stable job.
