Have you talked to the recruiter directly? My initial reaction is that they may have changed the job recruitments in some way (for example, the project need changed or the client need changed). Or it's possible that someone new onboarded at the company and they need their approval to hire (ie: you would be on their team). I had this happen to me when they changed a contract consultant role to a Director role. Wanted to bring me.back in to talk to the EVP since I would be reporting to him instead of reporting to the SD as a contractor.

I talked to the recruiter directly, it just seems like they have now switched to following the Google pool process (whether intentional or not).

What do you'll tell a recruiter when asked if you're interviewing with other companies? If you're interviewing with a competitor but nowhere close to the final round, is it worth mentioning?

What to do when HR for an in-house role sends you an email with four interviews set up for next week without having had a phone conversation first? I have no sense of what the salary is for this role. I do not want to waste my time or the time of the four people I am scheduled to interview with. I thought that with most in-house roles, there would be a conversation about that first to make sure everyone is on the same page. 😩

Hi there! For the last 20 years, I’ve been in project/program manager roles. Most recently, I spent the last 12 years in a learning development role managing the development of sales and technology training. Also, facilitating and partnering with sales on the development of Hunter workshops and sales/Pre-sales new hire training. I’m looking to switch careers to being in sales as an account manager / sales development rep. Advice on how to get interviews in this new dream role?
