Yes. And there are no hacks when it comes to meditating. It really is practice. I’d suggest you start with less time (10 mins) and try to work up over months. You can start by sitting doing something like focusing on breathing in and out.
I use the Headspace app & try to do the courses there as they provide daily meditations. Usually on the plane / in the Uber / or even in the bathroom if you need some quiet time during the day
Yess. I usually go for guided mindfulness meditation videos on YouTube.

I have the headspace app and do a morning meditation daily. Just start and find a time of the day and duration that feels right for you.
Healthy minds is a free and good alternative to headspace
I struggle with focus. Racing thoughts and other symptoms from my mental illness can sometimes overpower my suite of coping skills. Something that seems to help head that off is doing very short intense focus meditations. I’m talking 60 seconds. Basically, I pick a tiny spot on the wall, the ground, or some object that catches my attention. Then I try to observe and think about only that spot for the full minute. If my mind wanders, I simply bring it back to my consideration of the very teeny tiny spot of focus. A single minute of that has an effect on my ability to concentrate for the rest of the day. If it can help me, it can probably help most other people. Plus, it costs almost nothing and you can do it anywhere.
If you are looking to really dive head first into it, I recently finished a TM (Transcendental Meditation) course. It costs a bit of money and requires 2 20-minute meditations a day. But I like it so far and definitely recommend some research into it.
