Hi fishes,
I am planning a switch so was going through some salary data for a software engineer. My ex-senior manager recommended me a website: Growceed.com which helped me a lot in getting clarification about a lot of things but I am in doubt whether the average salaries of software engineer mentioned on Growceed.com really that much in top MNC companies.

I’m 26 weeks pregnant and trying to figure out my leave. I live in NJ and work at PwC, any fishes know the policy for NJ and PwC? The leave center has not been much help and I want to plan NOW not like 60 days before. I was told NJ gets two weeks before due date and PwC gives you two weeks as well.

All bad. Come to D
Never have applied, but have a few friends at Deloitte that at least act like its enjoyable. Just rubs me wrong when I hear stories from people who have left about drinking the Koolaid and selling their soul to the cult of “the D”.
I worked at KPMG. The vast majority of the people I worked with were very nice people. A lot of people first culture from the group I was in. Similar experiences at EY but I’d say KPMG felt a little more chill. Then again, I was at lower levels then.
If I were you I’d pick pwc out of those 3. KPMG and cap Gemini just aren’t as great in terms of consulting (maybe better at audit, etc).
Come to Deloitte! But if not then I would chose the following order:
1. Pwc
2. Kpmg
3. Capgemini
WD practice at PwC is disorganized. No proper team structure or tools and absolutely no internal collaboration. No body follows WD methodology.
If you are extremy good at WD and believe you don't need any resources, people help, internal tools etc, then go to PwC. Else don't. You will be lost in a sea with no directions- just project work.

KPMG has a lot of work to do. If your offer is too good to refuse, congrats! If it isn’t, consider your other opportunities.

K2 is correct

Can’t speak to any of the others, but I’ve been happy at PwC. Seems to have a better overall brand, but individual practices and teams can, of course, vary
Stay at Accenture and exit to industry but not to big 4s, you will be tied to a partner’s bottom line and these guys operate their own franchises, may even go around policies and procedures without being questioned.
Completely agree with PwC2. Culture at Big4- It's like a king and their subjects. Under the king are individual Directors who play EM role and team members are the subjects subjected to that leaders way of work, personal preferences and knowledge limitations.
There is no internal collaboration, team structures, team bonding or tools for development. Total chaotic culture.
Capgemini is a manpower agency
Can you explain this? Curious to know
Really depends on the team. There is greater difference between teams/practices in the same firm than firm vs firm as an average
Also - FWIW everyone I know from KPMG workday were happy
It's a no brainer - PwC and I'm switching as well to PwC in a month 😜
Nope, PwC does have better benefits compared to Accenture except for stocks given its a private entity. The size of the projects are definitely bigger at Accenture but it only helps if you are selling and getting a commish
I have compared my Accenture benefits against PwC and its definitely better

I had an overall positive experience at PwC - I would go there out of those three.

Lol was the post edited? Or somehow I skipped that sentence entirely
Congrats and not Cap unless they are paying at least 30% more than the others.
Not cap. Hemorrhaging people right now.
Did u get referrals? What levels and salary
No referrals at all. Would be coming in at a higher tier of Senior Associate technically. Message me if you wanna know salaries.
What’s your offers and titles? I’ve worked at 2/3. I can tell you that you won’t be eligible for bonus below C level at Cap.
Senior Associate (I think SA2) at the first two, Capgemini is “application consultant” at level B2. Cap offered a $10K higher base salary than the others, but you’re correct, no bonus.
