First masters in business analytics (MSBNA) have as close enough pull as an MBA?


Idk but my guess is I doubt. So what’s your opinion on the pull and what you can achieve with an MSBNA in comparison to MBA

Those with a part-time MBA was it worth it for you? Did it help to have as a “backup” ? Any regrets from those who went through the part time route?

I’ve done both the GMAT and GRE, both with high percentile scores. Can/should I submit both for my applications or just stick with one? Been told by a few colleagues to submit both, but I’m not sure

Enrolled in Stern for a few weeks.
The number of the alumni and current students that go to top consulting firms FT& summer intern are countless even for a small class size.
Stern is way more than a finance school. Given its location, do you want to spend your 2 years in a rural area or heart of Manhattan? Location is almost everything for business school. (I have a friend in Cornell that frequently travels about 5 hours to NYC for events.)

Studied accounting and finance but worried about the future of this profession. Currently working in Forensic Consulting but want to leave. Should I go back to undergrad and get a computer science degree? I honestly want a career where I could at least potentially make 600 k per year. I feel in accounting it’s near impossible. What is everyone's view on getting a Masters in Cyber security?

Georgia Tech Cybersecurity masters or the analytics masters? Currently in a cyber role at Deloitte. I was thinking it might be better to do the analytics master and get a CISSP. I feel like there is more value in the cissp than a MS cybersecurity

Associate at an AmLaw 100 firm doing patent work. I applied to a part time masters program to try to pivot to a different technical field (still doing patent work, but in something that interests me more than what I’m doing now). Do I try to stick it out at the firm while getting the masters, ask for a reduced hours schedule, or get a part time, non-legal job so I can focus more on the program (one year).

Why do you think ZS canceled the internship for the '23 batch? AFAIK they did not do this even during the pandemic. Are the full-time campus placement offers also in danger of being revoked?

I’m a 23yo female legal assistant working/living in Canada. I am completing my BA in hopes of continuing with law school after.
