Rooms without windows
People who come in sick and sit there all day blowing their nose and coughing. You’re not a martyr for working while sick, we are all sitting there disgusted by your pile of tissues wishing you would go home.
So nasty to hear the juicy sound of booger’s come out of someone’s nose 🤢
People in general.
Team rooms.
People with crappy headphones that listen to crappy loud music
Also, man-spreading (e.g., rolling your chair into me while you spread out to problem solve, taking up twice as much space as necessary in a crowded team room, leaving your bag under my feet...)
Very true A3, but I’ve observed it much more consistently in my male colleagues than my female ones. (Of course, I’ve had 2 female colleagues in my last 3 projects, so there is almost certainly some observation bias.)
People that don’t silence their computer notification sounds.
Infuriating
Not keeping space neat and clean. Letting empty coffee cups and other junk sitting out for too long.
Manager or babysitter? You have every right to ask your team to do those thinks. It’s adult basics. If you’re old enough to collect a paycheck, you’re old enough to cleanup after yourself and shut off your own laptop

Nothing like someone who feels the need to punch their keyboard with each click.
Passing gas
Oh... actually my most loathed situation is when there are multiple conversations going on in the room at the same time. Sends me insane.
