28M. First time solo travel 3 week trip to Spain coming up. Flying Royal Air Maroc from US. They’re allowing 2 check in bags and 1 carry on. However, I want to travel light and am trying to avoid check in bags completely. What carry on backpacks do you recommend to buy that would be enough for 3 week trip but also be allowed as a carry on? Also need to buy packing cubes.

Ladies, how do you take care of yourself when you fly? Specifically as it relates to skin care and bloating. My body is super temperamental so when I travel anywhere, my face breaks out like crazy, including painful cysts. My whole body swells up with about 10lbs of bloat. As a result, I just feel miserable the whole time and when I get home. I drink water but is there anything I can do to prevent these things?

I was devastated by it. This past month I have been making more payments and paid off my aug statement in full thinking it will boost my credit score. So our CEO asked me and a colleague to give a Start/Stop/Continue Mid-year review of our CIO who’s been our Head of Product for a few months (Our Head of Product left because of him when that guy came in)

We have a lot to say and none of the PMs approves the way he operates.

My concern is that it’s meant to be transparent but if we’re honest and he gets called off, he will figure out it comes from us.

I feel left out in my firm. How do I make 'friends' with my colleagues? I've been here for a year. I am naturally not a very out going person, was never 'cool' and I struggle to speak in group situations / make engaging conversation with higher ups. It is an important trait to have in this job and I just don't know how to do this. It makes me very upset - I even sought therapy but wasn't useful. I can't spend 14 hours each day feeling like this:(

So i have been fortunate that i have managed to go through my career without the need for a degree. I was lucky enough to have been hired by one of the worlds top consulting firms, worked with a whole lot of big clients and travelled a lot. It's gotten to the point where I am not even asked about the lack of a degree on my resume. Personally though, it bothers me. First business trip in 20 months. TSA agent yelled at me for nonsensical reasons. I almost cried. I was worried things would change, but they are just as dehumanizing as always. Felt like home.

Can I just vent on how annoyed I am with the increase in “priority boarding” of people that are able bodied? I am happy to let them on first. But I think they should get off last. So many times they are limping or in a wheelchair boarding. And then when we land that are the first to jump up and scurry off. Just not ethical.
