Hahaha you guys realize the water all comes from the same place. Never drink coffee or tea on a plane.
Never drink coffee or tea on a plane anyway. They can’t clean those machines properly
The real LPT is always in the comments
Also, on a somewhat unrelated note, rinsing things with non-potable water does not hurt you. Otherwise you’d get sick every time you took a shower in Mexico City. You obviously shouldn’t drinks glass of it but it’s not actual poison.
It’s not poison, but you should avoid if you can. I was in the Philippines earlier this year and every major hotel chain had bottled water next to the sink - the front desk said to brush your teeth with that vs. sink water.
Also recognize different levels of concern for hands vs. inside of your mouth.
I would file a complaint - for me, this isn’t even about points, but rather, it’s about basic sanitary principles the FA failed to follow, which is far more dangerous.
Have you never flown before? Never ever drink coffee from a plane...thought this was a known fact
Unless you mean from the toilet, I don’t see how this could possibly be an issue
Almost all airlines use tank water for coffee. Sometimes (particularly in economy) they’ll use tank water for cups of water when they’re running out of bottled water. You’ll quickly notice based on the taste!
Coffee on a plane = no go. Exception perhaps for the espresso on jetBlue, but can’t recall if the FAs use bottled water on those standalone machines...
That’s where the water comes from bud
It’s not contrary to regulations as, AFAIK, the water from those faucets is potable on all commercial aircraft. I wouldn’t expect a complaint to go anywhere as a result.
This should not be confused with a reason to drink coffee or tea on a plane though.
