I do. It does take time and effort though. Just be contribute as much as you can. If they don't take your idea, don't take it personally, just keep at it and they will see you.

We have a pretty good relationship with them. We talk to them quarterly about what the focus should be. It was pretty much making friends with the head of marketing that was important.
We usually have to follow up with some data to get the marketing team on board - which I understand since DEI sometimes cuts against the 'for-profit' incentives
I echo that it takes a while. I have a cadence of meetings with the team(only 4 people) And I get to know them personally while also keeping them up to date on what’s happening in my office. They like that a lot.
