For MBB summer internship recruiting, is it better to apply to an office that has more alumni? Or does it not matter if I go to a target school? I’m interested in Bain’s LA office (I come from LA) but I wasn’t able to find/connect with anyone there. There’s a stronger alumni base in NYC or Boston, and I was able to talk to some alums from those offices. I’m afraid I won’t receive an interview if I apply to LA because I haven’t networked..Any tips or advice on how I should make the selection?

What would be a typical salary for a junior in house counsel role (3 yoe) at a publicly traded company in a secondary market (think Austin, Tampa, Charlotte)? I’m having a really hard time finding what a reasonable range would be. Most positions I’m applying to require desired salary in the application, and the truth is I’d accept anything north of 125k but don’t want to undersell myself and take a bigger cut than necessary coming from biglaw.

I am product designer with a fair amount of experience (6yrs).

Recently was interviewed for a Sr. role in Booking but unfortunately the team finds me better suited as a core individual contributor.

I am also in the advanced stages of some lead designer positions in other companies.

However I am really interested in joining the team at Booking, especially because of the design culture.

Who has a LLM from USYD? Would like to know your experience. I am starting first semester 2023 as a full time student and working. I have heard from friends doing a LLM full time whilst working (not at USYD though) that it is achievable but very time consuming.

Had an interview with Hexaware and 3 days back HR1 called me and said she will send the offer letter next week. 2 days back HR2 called me and said a client interview is scheduled for you and I attended that. Now if I fail to clear the client interview round, will I not receive the offer letter that is promised by the HR1?
