Married man here, every now and then it comes across my reels as I’m mindlessly scrolling and yea I’ll watch, but I don’t really ever actively go look up girls. I also don’t follow any random girls/OF models.
OP wait until you hear what he does when he watches certain videos every day.

The accounts you’re sharing are prostitut*es trying to get clients. I wouldn’t be surprised if he slid in their DMs. It’s different than watching random p*orn because this actually gives them a chance to interact. If he’s actively looking for them and engaging with them, he’s not serious about you.
I would definitely have a conversation and rethink if we are truly compatible. I would find this disrespectful and take action.
Real life is always better…. Most of social media algorithms are based on thirst trapping men. Reality is doomed…..

OP, that's not normal. Sounds like a porn addiction.
I’m a woman, but my ex followed, liked, and commented on a lot of IG women. I’m now married to a different man who rarely uses social media and when he does I notice his IG is full of car stuff, tractors, etc.
I also have a male relative who confirmed that the algorithm is always pushing hot women into the content men see, but since he’s in a serious relationship with someone it would hurt, he actively hits the “show less” or whatever button to move it out of his feed.

This is NOT a gray area. If it bothers her, it’s off limits 100%. If it’s OK with her, fine. I know where things stand with my wife and respect that.

Ummm. I’m a man, and one who actually knows what that means. You’ve used the term “moral compass” like you understand it. It’s a shame there are online resources feeding that sad insecurity. Sorry to be so blunt but you earned it.
Never. Not really an Instagram scroller in general... And my wife is gorgeous! 🥰😍
It is a man thing. The vast majority of men would look if they weren't concerned about what their significant other would think/do.
I don’t follow and I would certainly never engage (like/ comment) because that is so cringe, but if an attractive woman in a bikini comes up in my reels I’ll certainly take a look before I scroll.
What’s the expectation here? Do you guys also look away when you’re watching a movie with an attractive actress?

It’s more like ok you look once and then they have six other reels so now you watch them all back to back
Instagram is for memes that are illegal in the UK.

There’s a difference between seeing a pretty girl and watching videos like this. In my opinion. https://www.instagram.com/reel/DTbPvcPkuom/?igsh=MWF6M2ZpdWE5M2RmdA== Maybe this will help you all understand what type of videos I’m talking about.
I don’t even have to click it to know from your description that it’s no doubt a thirst trap. Apparently plenty of guys like that stuff but many of us simply think it’s pointless.
Whose dad or granddad didn't have a pin-up calendar in the garage, or Playboy in the nightstand? I don't care what some goat herders said; looking isn't cheating, and unless it's an unhealthy obsession, it's probably nothing to be worried about.
How often? But ya we just like browsing. Look but don't touch

I would note that the algorithm really pushes these accounts. They’ll sometimes run second accounts with “normal” content or otherwise manage to get tagged in non thirst trap posts. Or they post content that takes a few seconds to realize that it’s OF content.
It’s very quick to go from a clean feed to this. I have to reset my recs regularly.
when dating? no
OP asking the obvious questions. I can see why he is looking elsewhere.
Happily married and I don’t need other women for eye candy. Just sayin..

I focus on my type (blue eyed brunettes)
I Ignore (nearly) everyone else except those who super like me.
Are you giving him what he wants? If not it’s fair game for him to get it elsewhere
I will just say that IG basically force feeds you this content. I go on social media for Soccer, cars, and general memes and jokes, however, my discover is full of fat asses and bouncing tatas .
IG Works off an algorithm while sometimes it can be some really weird things those are usually thrown out there to see if you’re going to watch/engage in that video and then it will show you more of it and depending on how you interact with the second video it will send you a 3rd and so on and so forth so if you’re getting those types of videos you more than likely were engaging with them
Rather look at you 😉
