For people who have bought a house in Seattle, how did you get comfortable with the prohibitively high cost and due to that, to the level of compromise you had to make in what you could buy? Accepting “good enough.”

I previously purchased in a lower cost of living market so I am comfortable with buying/owning. The thing I’m struggling with is accepting that even stretching to the max of what I can pay, I still have to make significant compromises and downgrade from my old house. Hard to accept.

What are the wages like in Singapore for consultants and techies? I can parse this on Glassdoor/Payscale/Monster, but it’s not clear how country of origin affects pay, if at all.

Like in Dec and March you will see less requirement due to Christmas and financial year ending. Similar what is the best period?

Because in my previous switch, 15 days were wasted due to Christmas and in March lot of requirements went on hold due to financial year ending.
