For those of us cutting it too close on nights for status…. random question: If I have a Marriott stay that goes into the new year, do the nights (like Dec 30 and 31) count for 2022 or 2023?

It is usually based on check out date so you might need to check out on the 31st for any nights to count for 2022 and the re-check in for the rest of your stay.

like

Based on the checkout date, not checkin date

like

Really? Not the night you actually pay for? Like he’s paying for the night of 12/31, not the morning of 1/1

like

I’m also cutting it close - my last night will be 30-31st. I believe if you stay the night of the 31st into the 1st, it may not count. I reached out and asked them what date do I need to earn the nights by, they said December 31st.

like

I think 2022

Does December 31, 2022 count in 2022? Is that your question?

Yes

Help!! My bestfriend is doing two months abroad and was trying to fly into turkey when they told her she couldn't because her passport expired within three months.

She went to the US Embassay in Athens knowing she had a month left of traveling, and gave her an emergency passport and punched holes in her exsisting one. Now no country will let her in with her emergency passport.

Can her mom get her a passport in the US and ship it to her? Is there anyway around this?

Thank you!!

I received an offer from IBM Bangalore. However I saw openings at my preferred location Kochi only after the interviews. I called the HR after getting their point of contact mail and I asked if it's possible to switch. They said I'm already tagged to a project and that they'll check from their end if it can be done.

Anyone knows the chances of location being changed after receiving the offer and getting tagged to a project?

I have not yet accepted the offer.
