For those who left the industry, what did you end up doing after?

Probably not a lot of people here who have left...but I do know someone who got a job at Amazon working on a more managerial side of things.

Never really left the industry. I just stepped up he career ladder and sought for growth and advancement. I don't want to be jumping form one industry to another.

Left the industry 3 years ago and ended up with my current position. I had to leave for career advancement and professional growth.

I moved to brokerage and have been in procurement for 5 years now. The brokerage experience helped me transition a great deal!

I've been planning to switch industries. I don't think I can afford to leave right now. Maybe some other time if I already have enough money to cover my succeeding expenses.

I am curious about this too. I've been thinking of leaving the industry but not sure what to do next. Are you also planning to leave?

I have my first therapy session coming up as I have severe anxiety and am now on meds to treat it. It’ll be virtual but I’m anxious, nervous to talk about everything, as I normally don’t, and have no idea what to expect. Can anyone help give me a clue of what the first session may look like? And if you’ve been to therapy or still, have you found it helpful?

Hello! So a friend started dating a guy she’s known a few weeks. She sent me pics of them kissing, wearing the guy’s clothes, etc., and I’m finding it hard to be happy for her because I know how this all ends. In the past, she’s had difficulty with her brief relationships as the guys always end up leaving for unknown reasons, and she ends up a total mess because she’s emotionally in too deep, too quick. She also feels lonely. How should I respond to her pictures?

I'm currently finishing up my undergrad and while my current GPA is 3.9+, my school is not a well-known university and any prestige it does have usually originates from its engineering programs, which I am not a part of.

How do you start building confidence in your legal judgement? I’m a rising 5th year and, now that I’m running my own deals, I’m making a lot of decisions on my own. I’ve been told I’m doing a great job, but my billing has become inefficient…which I know stems from me quadruple checking everything. I honestly don’t know how to fix this - any recs?
