Freshers who just joined Barclays stirring experienced people came in as lateral hires with experience of 5-6 years. Everyone now has same grade BA4! The worst part would be all these freshers are being trained and helped by same set of people! here in Pune office, many of these freshers don't even sit in desks and flaunting their package/grade promotion after joining 2-3 months back...adding salt to wounds of silent BA4 lateral hires people and absolutely depressing. BA4 promotion is tough :(

Senior engineer making 135k and I was offered a promotion to engineering manager after completing a development plan. Near the end of the plan and I expect compensation talks to start soon.
