Freshers who just joined Barclays stirring experienced people came in as lateral hires with experience of 5-6 years. Everyone now has same grade BA4! The worst part would be all these freshers are being trained and helped by same set of people! here in Pune office, many of these freshers don't even sit in desks and flaunting their package/grade promotion after joining 2-3 months back...adding salt to wounds of silent BA4 lateral hires people and absolutely depressing. BA4 promotion is tough :(

How does one tell their boss (owner of the company) that you are burnt out? The sheer volume of work is exhausting and I haven’t taken a true vacation as we are a small company so if something urgent comes to my email I feel like I must respond. I was given an additional title and more responsibilities last year as well but only a 3% raise for it.

Hi!! I’m an HR Coordinator currently (about two years of experience) but my job has so many responsibilities and tasks I’m beyond burnt out. It’s truly impossible to focus on one task because things are constantly being thrown my way. I’ve heard whisperings of a promotion or raise, but my workload is already too much, I don’t know if I’d want to accept more responsibility. Is it normal to feel like you have just as many responsibilities as your superiors who make 30k+ more than you?

With timing of our performance conversations I would have to inform I’m pregnant before outcomes - then shortly after the promotion effective date I would go on a leave for due date. I have been on bench since I joined the firm 3 months ago. Now I have got project but still on bench. I have got mail regarding not raising snapshots because I was on bench so i didn't do anything except trainings and some learning. I don't have hours to raise snapshot for.

What shall I do in this case? I am very much worried that if i don't have any project hours to show, will they fire me or what actions are supposed to be taken ? Thanks.

Currently working in-house for a large bio pharma - like the company and most of the people, but the work is really getting monotonous and I just leaned through the grapevine that I am making significantly less money ($15k to $30k) than others in the same level/grade as me.
