From a tech recruiter’s perspective, at what point does a gap become a big concern? I was laid off from a mid-level product manager role at a SaaS company about 8 months ago, and I’m starting to worry that the gap is going to hurt me. I’ve been doing some contract consulting and a couple of cohort-based courses, but nothing that shows up as a traditional job.

She said when I’m engaged it’s great but need to keep it going. I’ve mentioned my ADHD previously but I’m sure she doesn’t know all the components of what that means. We’ve had org issues - no clear role descriptions or expectations. Yes I do have a hard time staying engaged (and I’m medicated - Vyvance in the am, dextroamphetamine at noon). Thoughts?

Let’s talk comp — I’m a remote head of recruitment with 6 years of experience being paid 75K base plus bonuses that got me to 90K this year.
