I have got an offer letter from cognizant which is having the compensation of 10.2LPA. Now I have got another offer from LTI and the compensation is 11LPA. But I need to join COGNIZANT. Is there any chance for changing the compensation again in cognizant? Will they be able to change the compensation again? Is it so then how to approach them. Highly suspect a place I’m interviewing at is a sweatshop. What questions can I ask to get a good sense and what are red flags?

A new analyst has joined our team and we often give them models/ slides but don’t always ask them if they know all of the accounting principles to be able to make minute adjustments to EBITDA or free cash flow. We are a FIG platform, so the knowledge required is relatively unique as well and not as easy to google as corporate transactions. Is there a better way to coach the analyst short of just throwing them in the deep end to figure it out or should we wait for them to ask us for help?

I feel left out in my firm. How do I make 'friends' with my colleagues? I've been here for a year.
