Is it just me or do 90% of the jobs being laid off by big tech sound made up? Many job descriptions with multiple bullet points that all kinda revolve around the same idea. One of my buddies works for a big IT company and literally just sits on meetings all day. No one really contributing to anything other than agreeing to whatever the speaker is saying. Are these kind of jobs finally being exposed? Six figure employees getting paid to sit and bounce ideas off each other?

With product design questions, I struggle to identify user groups. Once I do everything starts flowing and I’m confident. But the initial identification of user groups is something I find challenging. What’s your go-to way of doing this? For example, the question “design a podcasting app for truck drivers.” What types of truck drivers can I select so that I can prioritize a user group to focus on and begin identification of pain points and solutions?

Can anyone describe Amazon’s culture for an associate corporate counsel,based on team? I’ve read a number of comments on this app and across the internet about the company in general but the individuals never specify what team they’re referring to. Question about inclusion…. I’ve been teaching inclusion for 5 years so I’m still a newb, but a first year coworker of mine said she got points off on her observation because her kids were scattered in the classroom and she was having to move from kid to kid to assist. While I see the point of putting them together for convenience, I don’t agree with this at all! To me this is like singling them out by putting them all together instead of INCLUDED amongst peers. What do y’all think?

Assumptions
> Approx. 6000 hospitals in the US
> 40 people in a hospital waiting room per hour
> 6 hour workday

= 240 people vaccinated per day x 6000 hospitals
= 1.4 million people vaccinated per day

US bought 100 million of Moderna doses in Aug and additional 100 million doses of Pfizer in Dec = 200 million doses available in total
