Lord, everything is an ad for AI now. And you think why newer generation is distrustful. These articles sickens me

“The Workday executive recommends using AI to remove friction from everyday work life, while being careful not to stifle office relationships. And by freeing up more time from those tech efficiencies, employers have a window to thoughtfully strengthen relational skills among their staffers.”- from this article about loneliness.

Oh lordy lordy

Not Gen-Z myself, but bashing them is getting ridiculous. They’re being treated significantly worse at the workplace than previous generations, and most of them will never be able to save up to buy a decent sized home in the cities they work in without parental help or a windfall.

Boomers wouldn’t have gotten out of bed if they were given the same working conditions as the younger generations today.

Oh and as the person above me said, this is just a cynical advertisement for an AI company (and a really bad one at such. Workday sucks, you’re better off hiring actual people than relying on them).

The article actually supports Gen Z and it brings up the point that they are being treated differently than us.

I have been invited to move up to the junior partner level in my mid-sized insurance defense/medical malpractice defense firm, but the terms essentially make me an independent contractor. What does your firm's junior partner track look like? I have been offered 50% of all income brought in, but I have to deal with my own insurance, pay all my own benefits, and handle my own insurance. Is this normal?
