Yep. Managed to lose 20 lbs this year. You will not lose as fast as non-travelers but it def works
If you’re struggling with that, I’m on Jenny Craig, they deliver to my hotel so all my meals are set for the 4 days I’m away. I’m 20lbs down in 12 weeks with walking as exercise only.
Focus on the newer zero point foods (eggs, plain nonfat yogurt, chicken, fish). Takes the stress out of estimating. And I highly recommend breakfast—even if it’s something small like fruit and/or yogurt. It’s slow progress, but I’m down 45.
Yes I only eat dinner everyday. 5’6 female 100 lbs
I’ve been lifetime for years but recently gained it back while traveling. Have about 30 to lose
I don’t really eat breakfast but struggled a lot with lunch and dinner. I always found myself STARVING and it’s hard to portion control when eating out vs cooking yourself
Try low carb. Helps with cravings
OP, I suggest that you stop skipping breakfast. It will genuinely help you.
Protein in the morning is particularly important. Egg whites are low point and satisfying, nonfat Greek yogurt is slightly higher points but is great, fat free baby bell cheese or WW nonfat cheese sticks, etc. An apple in the morning is great for you, and will help you stay on track.
Plan ahead for when you get hungry in the late afternoon or evening by having healthy snacks available. The key is to plan ahead, and to avoid getting so hungry that you fall off the wagon at night.
Good luck!
If you’re staying in the same hotel every week and can leave stuff over a weekend, then I might get a Nutri bullet and some protein shake mix that you can blend in ice/water. That’s working for me. And then I just make sure that all the meals I do eat out are salads or grilled meat with veggies. Also cut alcohol and sugar / artificial sweeteners as much was possible.
How does Jenny Craig work? Does the food come prepared and you just heat it up? In that case, do you always request a microwave in your hotel room?
