@D2 Needs to chill. There's nothing wrong with not taking a promotion as granted and the range OP provided is sufficiently narrow for the question at hand. Unless you're secretly OP's counselor I doubt you know what they "deserve". OP look for a new job so you don't run into D2 :)
I was hanging at the HR floor when they were making phone offers a few weeks ago. First year BTA out of undergrad were being offered 80k +12k sign on bonus. My advice is to look elsewhere

I don’t mean to be overly critical but, “most probably” makes it sound like you don’t deserve a salary bump to 80k. The devil is in the details...
@C2 made a huge mistake during salary negotiations, came in as experienced hire instead of campus.

How are you getting paid 68-72 as a second year BTA when BTAs for the last 3+ years have all started at 72,500?
