Dude do not even consider that offer. I was making 90k as a first year Senior Associate in PwC public sector in the US. And at least at BAH, our ME teams are paid a premium (like 30% more than the rest of the firm).
thanks for the insight. i guess BAH is definitely one of the highest paying consulting firms in ME. no doubt... just wanted to know about big 4, is 90k as per benchmark?
What’s ME?
And you can’t really compare yourself to a post-mba MBB consultant. A higher paid company in general and almost exclusively from a top 15 MBA.
Middle East I'm guessing
Is your MBA from a top school? If not then you should expect something in the $130k-140k range for the U.S.
If by ME, you mean Middle East, then yea that sounds about right. People always transfer to the states internally for the higher salary.
Is this real? At my tier 2 firm, ME total salary is roughly on par with US total salary (while of course being tax free)
Remember that that 90k is tax free. I work in the Dubai Office and the comp seems pretty much tagged to the UK firm which is definitely lower than the US. If that 90k is purely basic salary (which seems unlikely) then expect 1.8x monthly salary as your highest bonus.
ME = Middle East, specifically Dubai.
Nooooo
I wouldn't move for that much. They better pay for housing, transportation, literally everything. Then throw a premium on top of the salary for being in ME
I wouldnt compare US and ME salaries nor would I compare big 4 and MBB. Also, depends on practice
