I made $178k when I was promoted to director last summer. I’m at $192k now as a second year director, effective July 1
I agree with KPMG. There could be a lot of factors. I only just reached my 10 year tenure so it’s possible those with more tenure making director may have higher pay. I’m also in Chicago which is HCOL but not comparable to NY or CA.
I was 264k base first year tax director tri-state area, mid-size firm
Sounds about right. Maybe even more generous than I'd expect, although I don't know tax compensation.
