I think people who don't travel for work wish they did a little bit and people who travel for work hate it haha. The grass is always greener. I think the ideal is to travel maybe once every 2 months, but no more. I'm happy when I'm traveling like 4-6 times a year
Very, very rarely we have a training to travel to, like maybe once or twice a year, and I don’t hate it, but never looking forward to it. We do get a meal stipend though, so maybe that is actually why I tolerate it. Work travel is different, and just harder to feel motivated to do.
So I never get to travel for work and I always think I would like it. I mean, there’s a good chance if I did do it I would hate it and a lot of people who get to travel don’t enjoy it, but it looks more enjoyable and not a desk all the time. So I’m a little jealous of people you get to do it.
