Hi, I'm leaving Citi in 2 months. It's hard to make this decision. I have an offer from a small startup. In citi, my previous experience was not considered and was reskilled to different tech which is the reason for change.I don't like to exit citi. As I like the company so much. But considering my current knowledge,I am in the middle of the sea.I am afraid now that the new company's offer would be revoked due to this recession?Or can I take back my resignation in citi before the last working day.Is this wise decision?

I don’t live there but I can confirm there are at least 2 POC that live there.
"Be the diversity you wish to see in the world"
DFW is pretty diverse - lots of POC, large populations of Hispanic, Indian, and Southeast Asian folks as well. We apparently have some of the best Laotian food in the country. Who knew?
However, DFW is also still fairly segregated, especially Dallas. This is due to some red lining and other discriminatory housing policies that didn’t get changed/struck down until as recently as the 1980s.
There are lots of “cops” in downtown FW - but that’s because the Bass family pays for them to be there so people will feel safe and patronize the businesses in Sundance Square. The Bass family owns most of downtown FW.
Plenty of POC that I saw there but I also noticed q TON of cops, which scared me. But in general aside from that I really liked it. If you have a chance to try Toro Toro (new pan Latin steak house) it was amazing food
Yes
The greater Dfw area is like 45% white so not sure your definition of "diverse"
I’ve seen much more diversity in Dallas but Fort Worth doesn’t seem to be nearly as diverse
There are areas that lean one way are the other, but there are plenty of POC around here. :)
Elizabeth Warren used to live there if that counts. I think it was before she become the first woman of color to teach at Harvard Law School.
I can assure you there are PLENTY of people of color in that area. Walk around downtown
FTW is definitely less diverse than Dallas. However, I think it’s still a friendly and overall welcoming area because there is diversity in the metroplex as a whole as people stated.
