@Globant need to re-invent their promotion for the employees. Apart from appraisals, this is another big issue in Globant. All promotions are totally depends on Career Leader. Who know how career leader is working/syncing with the employee. I really observed this is major issue over here in #Globant. TCBP are just shield to protect over all system created by the Globant & for the Globant. It's nothing being relatable to employees.

Globant team, please reconsider to re-invent promotion process.

Currently I’m working as a junior front-end developer building and designing emails/ landing pages. I like what i do right now tho, i feel more passionate about analyzing things, coming up with new ideas/ strategies. So i’m thinking to develop my career as a Digital marketer who can design/ code in 5 years. Digital marketing is so broad, dont know where to start. What certifications can I earn to increase my market value coming out of college? I’m graduating with a marketing and digital applications co-major and I have 2 HubSpot certs (Digital Advertising and Social Media Marketing) + relevant internships. Should I stay at a company I know I like culture-wise when my manager said they will try to promote me, but with no guarantee. Or should I take a job offer I was given with a nice raise, but is in consulting at Slalom. I have not worked in consulting before. There is no travel with Slalom, but the idea of being the new person all the time isn’t too appealing. Less pay and known culture, or more pay unknown job satisfaction?

2020 grad M&A/PE Associate in LCOL area thinking about moving to a ECVC/M&A boutique. I generally like the work I do and the people I work with, but I really don’t like the hours and the constant late nights and weekends. Currently on pace for 2250. Boutique I have been eyeing has billable hour requirement of 1500-1600 and comes with a 20-25% paycut. Is this a stupid idea and should I grind it out until I can move in house? Will this ruin my opportunities down the road?

So, I'm looking at Provider Network Coordinator roles, because I'm finding some of those roles don't need AS MUCH experience. I'm a RHIT, and have been working in healthcare for nearly 10 years.

Is it normal for a Product Owner to lay out specs for how a feature should work?

I thought that was my job as the ux designer to figure out the best way to solve a need. But I’m getting handed projects where the PO, and sometimes the senior designer has laid out exactly what should happen (components used, flow, etc) to design a feature. It’s really frustrating because I don’t know if I’m supposed to be speaking up on what I think or just do the UI work I’m asked to.
